How or where can I figure out how to extract audio files from a playstation 2 game? I really like some of the audio files on a game that is only on the playstation 2, but there is no soundtrack

extract audio files from a playstation 2 game, it wouldnt it be easier. just plug a wire from the headphone socket on the tv that playstation is plugged into to the line in on your pc ,then use some sort of sound recording program to monitor the volume then record it straight to hard disk in whatever format you want, i would use soundforge but any wave editor program will do it. search for freeware sound editor in google or look in the software that was installed with your soundcard it may already have the necessary software especially if you have any of the creative soundblaster cards .I’m not sure if the playstation 2 has headphone sockets but even if it doesnt
