how to get playstation portable repaired (warrenty questions)
Sep 7th, 2008, under playstation |how to get playstation portable repaired (warrenty questions)? I recently dropped my playstation portable, i believe the warranty is still in tact because i just bought half year ago. I was wondering if anyone here could tell me if the warranty covers it, and if they have the link to the actual warranty form.
The warranty sticker is underneath the battery (at least, on the Phat models. I’m guessing it’s the same on Slim). Basically it’s to ensure you didn’t take your PSP apart. As long as that sticker’s there, Sony should take it back. How far of a drop are we talking here? Cuz I’ve dropped mine like 6 feet onto cement and it’s still tickin’.
Also, this may not apply to you, but Sony will under no circumstances repair a PSP that has custom firmware on it. It seems stupid, I know, but if you have tweaked the firmware at all or hacked the PSP, even though it has nothing to do with the hardware, Sony says the warranty is void.
i think it will cover it the only reason it will not get covered is if you remove the warranty sticker or you can call SONY and ask them
