how to hook up playstation 2 to tv? What cords do i need to hook up my playstation 2 to tv? I have a playstation 2 and got the new game guitar hero 2, i want to hook it back up. However, I am having trouble figuring out what cords I need. Is there more than 2 cords that hook up to the back of the playstation? I only have 2 black cords hooked up, and i am really confused on what to do because the playstation turns on but it goes to the browse part, and cannot read the disks. Is there something wrong with the playstation? Or is there a cord missing?

there should be a cord with 3 ends colored red white and yellow, with the colored ends going into your TV. The other cable with the plug goes into the wall and into your ps2, it’s not complicated, it’s EXTREMELY OBVIOUS. If they’re missing you can just go buy some composite cables at best buy or wal mart for $5.

If your Playstation is turning on AND you can see the browse menu on your TV, your cords are fine. Your disc or the reader in the actual drive must be busted if it can’t read the GH disc. You need to get it repaired or buy a new disc. Try some other games to see if they work.
