optimal specifications for saving video to an iphone

What are the optimal specifications for saving video to an iphone?Format, codec, ratio, dimensions etc.. is there any programs that save directly to the iphone format?

Videora make loads of programmes for converting video for different devices. I haven’t tried the iPhone one but if their PS3 or PSP converters are anything to go by I highly recommend them. They are easy to use and free!

They also have very comprehensive and easy-to-follow guides for converting from DVDs, YouTube and other formats on their website.

The recommend video format for the iPhone is a 720 X 400px H.264 MPEG-4 in .mp4, .m4v or .mov. Videora’s converter will do all this for you through it’s wizard.
