upgrade an existing iPhone to 3G speed?
Can you upgrade an existing iPhone to 3G speed, on the new iPhone, from the EDGE network? how can i want the 3G network for my existing iPhone because of the faster web browsing speed.
Unfortunately iphone 3g technology requires an additional hardware which is not possible to add on to your current 2,5G iPhone. However as far as I know you can get an upgrade from o2 if you had your iPhone on contract with them(they will allow you to upgrade early only if you had an iPhone contract) and pay only £99(in UK) for the handset or even free on higher calling plan(subject to new 18 months contract)
