how to Transfer ringtones from LG Rumor to another phone via bluetooth? How can I transfer ringtones from my LG Rumor via bluetooth to someone elses phone? Do we have to have the same carrier? My friend is able to do it with his Rumor but it only gives me the option to send a contact or calendar event. Do I have to have a sd micro card? He has one but I do not. Also my firend has a Sanyo Katana and we can’t figure out how to do the same with hers either.

Sprint disable bluetooth on their phones, they do that to make more money selling ringtones or by getting a cut of all the other companies that sell ringtones and bill people through the cell phones. You can’t even load mp3 files and use them as ringtones. But you have 2 options and there is only 1 good FREE site
its called VENTONES

1) upload an mp3 file, convert it into a ringtone, and they text it to you, and you use your sprint power vision to download the ringtone

2) follow their step by step tutorial to load a special ringtone onto your LG Rumor with a data cable and a memory card.

Any way, i use both methods for my LG rumor, and they both work like magic, I refuse to pay Sprint for any ringtones.
