I’m thinking of buying one for my son. Is it contract only or will o2 offer Pay as you Go?

It’s contract only i’m afraid - £279 for the phone and a minimum of £35 a month on the contract. If you are after something innovative get him a Sony Ericsson or Nokia - the iPhone doesn’t do picture messaging, have 3G or HSDPA or any services we take for granted in Europe.

Plus the Sony Ericsson/Nokia phones are cheaper and you can get those on Pre Pay and they will play MP3’s just as well if not better than the iPhone.

you can put any cingular AT%26T phone on as a pay as you go phone just put a pay as you go phone sim card in them the only thing is wil apple they are very hard on there prices and so it won’t be cheep you will have to buy the phone out right
